With the pending release of Pokmon Legends: Z - A and the return of Mega Evolution, it was widely assumed that the Pokmon TCG would also bring back Mega Evolution in some way

Japanese cards also have a glossy finish, giving them a higher quality feel, and promo cards are often designed with unique holofoil patterns

These fancy cards, such as the adorable, enormous Espeon VMax taking a nap on a whole building or Charizard and Vensaur duking it out in one of the modern games most valuable cards, these are the reason I cant go to Asda without considering a flutter on a few booster packs - but therein lies the problem

Reverse holo (shiny background instead of artwork) usually sits between non-holo and regular holo in value

Market Price: $32.09 Magikarp (Illustration Rare) Magikarp isnt a particularly powerful card, but the Illustration Rare variant is still one of the top cards in the set largely due to its beautiful artwork
