pokemon pocket monsters cards Card Game Energy Pokémon Card Game PROMO 068/PCG-P

Nine generations in, the Charizard Pokmon card continues to be an enduring hallmark within the Pokmon Trading Card Game (TCG) as well as the franchise in general

Featuring artwork by Pikachu creator Atsuko Nishida , this card, which is also commonly known as the "Pikachu Illustrator" card is considered by many collectors to be the true grail of Pokmon collecting, with its unique illustration and distribution adding tremendous appeal to complement its overall scarcity

Players who preorder booster boxes from their local game stores may be eligible for special promo cards

Similar cards with shadowed art or the Poke Ball symbol can also sell for thousands if highly graded or in particularly good visual condition, but if youre looking for the most valuable Venusaur card, keep an eye out for that 1st Edition logo and the lack of shadow on the border of the art
