NEW YORK - One of the rarest and most highly coveted Pokemon cards in the world fetched $360,000 at a Sotheby's auction Tuesday in New York

Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina share similar designs to this card, though Arceus places second among the four, with Giratina ahead

Illustrator akagi used a colorful and dynamic pose to make it seem like Greninja was jumping off the card, making it a truly unique piece

Other, non-first-edition versions will sell for much less money if you're interested in owning this card on a budget

If there are only a few copies of a card in existence, then it makes sense that that card would hold an increased value -- three more Illustrator Pikachu cards with lower PSA grades also appear on the list due to the card's rarity
